Romancing the Self
with Sarah-Joy Amin & Joanne Johnston
29th May 2016 & 12th 2016
This first sacred workshop provides a beautiful offering of love and transformation for every woman. You will connect with your sacred womb, the creative centre where all is flowing and flowering. In this workshop, you will embrace your womb, your feminine power, your sensuality and come to appreciate your being as beautiful in every way. Nurture yourself with this wonderful gift of self-love and sacred nourishment!
Flowing forward and seeking equilibrium we offer the second workshop.
"The shadow" are the parts of you that you prefer to keep concealed or hidden. On this journey you will travel with companions of trust and support and will guided to safely look at how your own shadow can at times unexpectedly ambush and derail you. The workshop will be an introduction into exploring this realm and beginning to find ways to understand and make peace with your shadow self.
Note: To participate in the Shadow workshop you must first take part in the Romancing the Self workshop, as this lays the foundations for the second workshop. No previous yoga or shamanic experience is required to attend.
Special discounted rate of RM400 if you book both workshops together by 13th May. Later double bookings will attract the full fee of RM500.
The workshops are facilitated by Joanne Johnston, a Psychologist, Reiki and Shamanic practitioner and Sarah-Joy Amin, Chakra Yoga Instructor and Holistic Health Practitioner. Please call Joanne on 013-427 7127 or Sarah-Joy on 016-488 9328 for further information and to register.
About Sarah-Joy Amin
Sarah Joy Amin is a yoga instructor in the Chakra Yoga tradition and teaches a more holistic form of yoga from both spiritual and non-spiritual perspectives. Her emphasis is to support people's healing process and help them develop their physical as well as mental, emotional and spiritual selves. Sarah-Joy is also an Inner Dance practitioner and part of the global Inner Dance community. In addition, she trained in a transformational coaching programme called ASP (A Simple Path to Transformation). Prior to her healing work, Sarah-Joy worked with child health and civil society groups for over 20 years, enabling women and people empowerment, gender and social justice, health and well being. She is now living her aspiration of bringing her experience of the last 20 years and her own spiritual and transformative journey into creating programs that help in people's personal transformation.
Inner Dance has complemented Sarah-Joy's yoga practice as both traditions bring the yin and yang, the inner and the outer together, blending form and flow into a holistic healing and transformation journey. She took the Inner Dance facilitator training in early 2015 and subsequently an advance workshop recently this June. Since 1992, Sarah-Joy has worked with women and child health and civil society organisations for over 20 years, enabling women and people's empowerment, gender and social justice, health and well-being. She was the Director of the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) since 2010, its co-director since 1997 and is currently a consultant to WABA. She is now living her aspiration of bringing her experience of the last two decades and her own spiritual/transformative journey into creating opportunities that help in people's healing and personal transformation.

About Joanne Johnston
Joanne Johnston is a fully qualified, chartered psychologist, clinical hypnotherapist and has a wide range of further training, life and work experiences developed over 25 years. At the same time she has always had an active interest in parallel healing and spiritual practices. She has deepened this interest by training first in Reiki before flowing into the world of Shamanism. This flourished through undertaking training in a shamanic tradition specifically focussing on female energies and described as being gynocentric (focussing upon womb energies in their many and divergent manifestations). The tradition enables the flow-ering of female spiritual and sexual energies and awareness, allowing us to more fully inhabit the many aspects of our minds, bodies and souls; engaging and romancing ourselves and others. Joanne particularly enjoys creating safe and sacred spaces, allowing others to explore and weave their own fabrics of support and delight.
